We are shipping Australia wide using preferred Australia Post. Unfortunately, as the products are large, we can not send to PO boxes. If you live in Townsville, pick up is available in Railway Estate 4810 (at agreed time). Simple select 'pick up' upon checkout and I will contact you with our pick up address and further details. If you have an urgent order, send us an email with your required dates and we will aim to get your finished order in time.
All products are made to order and personalised which unfortunately means that your order cannot be returned or exchanged. Any damaged goods due to shipping must be notified to us within 3 days of receiving the goods. Please provide satisfactory photo evidence that damage was caused during transit. Definitions (a) The “Owner” refers to In the Tropics Events. The words “we”, “us” and “our” are references to In the Tropics Events. (b) The “Hirer” refers to any individual or business hiring equipment from the Owner. The words “you” and “Your” refer to the Hirer. (c) The “Equipment” means all the equipment and accessories supplied to the Hirer (d) “terms” refer to these Terms & Conditions Hire Period & Hire Terms (a) To hire from us all invoices must be paid in full with a hire period agreed with us. Any extension to the hire period must be agreed with us. (b) The hire period commences from the moment we drop equipment at the agreed venue or location or the hirer collects the equipment from the premises of In the Tropics Events. © the hirer shall not remove any hired equipment from the confirmed events location unless consent is given from the owner. (d) If the hiring period is extended without permission the hirer is charged at a full daily rate. (e) You will not be entitled to any refund if the hired equipment is returned to us prior to the agreed hire date (f) Any security bond requirements must be paid in full with the invoice. If the hirer shall breach any of the obligations in the Hire Agreement, In the Tropics Events hold the right to apply the bond either in whole or in part towards the cost of replacement or rectification. (g) You may cancel any order prior to pick up/delivery but may forfeit any hire fees paid as follows: If bookings are cancelled 72 hours prior to event date, the hirer will be refunded 50% of fire fee. If bookings are cancelled 48 hours prior to event date, the hirer will be refunded 25% of fire fee. If bookings are cancelled 24 hours prior to event date, none of the hire fee shall be refunded. (h) In order to complete booking, the hirer must make full payment 7 days to the Hire period. (i) The hirer acknowledges and takes full responsibility for the equipment and is liable for any damages. Damage (a) All goods must be kept in a proper working condition without tamper, damage or alter. (b) It is the Hirers responsibility to securely store all goods protecting against theft and damage. © The hirer must protect all items from the elements during the time of delivery/pick up, storing and prior to pick up, including overnight pick up. (d) The hirer must notify us immediately if there is any loss or damage. (e) If any goods are damaged of loss, the hirer must compensate in full. (f) The Hirer must pay In the Tropics Events the full replacement cost of the equipment within 14 days of the event. Force Majeure If In the Tropics Events is at any time to perform any of its obligations whether wholly or partly by reason of any cause beyond its control (including without limitation, acts of God, inclement weather, strikes, lockouts, fires, riots, civil commotion or unrest, pandemics, interference by civil or military authorities or act of war) In the Tropics Events may give written notice to that effect to the Hirer, giving full particulars of such force majeure, in which case the obligations of In the Tropics Events under these Terms shall, to the extent that they are affected by the force majeure, be suspended during the term of the force majeure. In the Tropics Events shall not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by the Hirer because of any delays caused by such force majeure events. TERMS & CONDITIONS PURCHASE Orders (a) Full payment is required before we can commence and work on your order. Please ensure all details are correct regarding your purchase and personal details. (b) All payment must be made via Debit/Credit Card. (c) Customers will receive receipt to the email address provided. (e) In the Tropics Events will hold no responsibility to any spelling or grammatical errors from the Customer. Please contact us immediately if you notice and errors. No refund will be given if the Customer is unable to contact us prior to manufacturing. Ownership/copyright All designs remain the remain the property of In the Tropics Events. No designs can be sold or copied without written permission from In the Tropics Events. You must not download or copy content in this site. Any Violations of any kind will be pursued. Refunds No refunds will be given if you simply change your mind or an error made from the customer. If your goods do not match your purchase, please contact us immediately. Refunds are available for major faults/defects as per Australian Consumer Law. We are unable to accept returns due to the printed products not matching the colours on your screen. This is due to all monitors and screen displays being slightly different and may not precisely represent how your order will print. Currency All prices are in Australian Dollars. Delivery The buyer is responsible for providing the correct delivery address. We are unable to deliver to PO boxes due to the size of some items. Acts of Force Majeure including but not limited to COVID 19 may prolong delivery time. This is not the responsibility of In the Tropics Events and no refunds will be issued.
